These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of https://collabwiseacademy.com/, including the creation of an account, registration for webinars, purchase of training services, participation in learning sessions, use of educational materials, and communication with our team. CollabWise Academy provides expert-led webinars and professional training in areas such as AI solutions and automation, career development, professional skills, employee wellness, leadership and management, sustainability, innovation, and workplace performance.

By accessing the website, creating an account, purchasing a webinar, or participating in any CollabWise Academy service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the website or register for our services.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law to independently create an account or purchase a service.

Individuals under 18 may use the services only with the consent and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, educational institution, employer, or other responsible adult authorized to act on their behalf.

If you register another person for a webinar, you confirm that you are authorized to provide their information and agree to these Terms on their behalf where legally permitted.

3. Our Services

CollabWise Academy provides live, recorded, scheduled, and customized learning services. Available services may include:

• AI solutions and automation webinars;
• Career growth and professional skills training;
• Employee wellness sessions;
• Leadership and management webinars;
• Sustainability and innovation webinars;
• Digital workplace and productivity training;
• Corporate learning programs;
• Team collaboration sessions;
• Learning materials and supporting resources; and
• Other professional development services displayed on the website.

The description, instructor, format, duration, learning objectives, access period, availability, and fee for each service may be displayed on the relevant registration or service page.

We may reasonably update the content, session structure, supporting materials, or instructor where necessary, provided that the overall nature and purpose of the purchased service are not materially reduced.

4. Account Registration

Certain services may require you to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information;
• Keep your login details confidential;
• Use a strong password;
• Update your information when it changes;
• Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access; and
• Accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account.

An account is intended for the registered user and must not be shared, transferred, sold, or made available to another person without written authorization from CollabWise Academy.

We may temporarily restrict an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized sharing, a security threat, payment irregularity, or a breach of these Terms.

5. Webinar Registration

Your place in a webinar is confirmed only after the required registration information and payment have been successfully received, unless the session is expressly offered without charge. Registration confirmations, access instructions, schedules, and related updates may be sent to the email address connected to your account. You are responsible for checking your email, including spam or junk folders, before the scheduled session.

Webinar access links are personal and must not be published, forwarded, resold, or shared with unauthorized individuals. For corporate training, the organization arranging the session is responsible for supplying accurate participant information and ensuring that its participants follow these Terms.

6. Prices and Payments

Webinar and training fees are displayed on the website in the available currency before checkout. The final amount payable will be shown before you confirm the transaction. Currency-conversion rates may change, and your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion or transaction charges. CollabWise Academy does not control charges imposed independently by a bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Payments may be handled by an authorized third-party payment gateway. We may receive information such as the payment status, transaction reference, paid amount, selected currency, billing details, and masked payment information. We do not store complete debit or credit card numbers, CVV details, online banking passwords, or UPI PINs on our servers. You should never send these details to CollabWise Academy through email, contact forms, webinar chats, or messaging platforms.

A registration may be delayed or rejected where payment is unsuccessful, reversed, disputed, suspected to be unauthorized, or flagged for a security review.

7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Requests for cancellation or refunds are handled according to the Refund and Cancellation Policy published on the website.

Eligibility may depend on factors including:

• When the request was submitted;
• Whether the webinar has already started;
• Whether access to a recording or restricted material has been provided;
• Whether a participant attended any part of the session;
• Whether the service was materially different from its published description; and
• Whether a technical problem was caused by our system or by the participant’s equipment or internet connection.

If CollabWise Academy cancels a paid webinar, registered participants may be offered a rescheduled session, account credit, alternative service, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

A schedule change does not automatically create a right to compensation beyond the options stated in the Refund and Cancellation Policy or required by applicable consumer law.

8. Webinar Access and Technical Requirements

You are responsible for having a suitable device, supported browser, working internet connection, and any software required to access a webinar. We will take reasonable steps to deliver each service as scheduled. However, temporary interruptions may occur because of internet failures, hosting issues, webinar-platform outages, security incidents, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If a technical problem arises on our side and materially prevents delivery, we may reschedule the session, provide alternative access, extend the access period, or offer another appropriate remedy. We are not responsible for access difficulties caused by your device, network, local power supply, software settings, email filtering, or failure to follow the supplied access instructions.

9. Participation Standards

Participants must behave respectfully and professionally during webinars, discussions, group activities, and communications.

You must not:

• Harass, threaten, insult, or discriminate against another participant or instructor;
• Disrupt a webinar or prevent others from learning;
• Share unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content;
• Upload malware or attempt to compromise any system;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
• Collect another participant’s information without permission;
• Promote unrelated services without authorization;
• Share confidential workplace or third-party information without authority;
• Record a session without permission; or
• Use webinar access for an unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

We may mute, remove, suspend, or restrict a participant who breaches these standards. Serious or repeated misconduct may result in account termination without a refund where permitted by applicable law.

10. Webinar Recordings

Some webinars may be recorded for replay, training, quality assurance, or internal improvement. Where reasonably possible, participants will be informed before recording begins. A recording may capture a participant’s display name, voice, video, presentation, screen share, chat contribution, or submitted question if the participant chooses to make that information visible.

Where the webinar format permits, participants who do not wish to appear in a recording should keep their camera and microphone disabled and avoid submitting identifying information in the public chat.  CollabWise Academy will not intentionally use an identifiable participant’s contribution in public promotional material without appropriate permission, unless the content was knowingly submitted for that purpose.

11. Educational Materials and Intellectual Property

The website, webinar presentations, recordings, worksheets, templates, graphics, text, videos, course structures, and other materials supplied by CollabWise Academy are owned by or licensed to CollabWise Academy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

After completing a valid registration, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the relevant materials for your own learning or authorized internal professional development.

Unless written permission has been granted, you must not:

• Copy or republish substantial portions of the materials;
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially distribute them;
• Upload recordings or materials to another platform;
• Remove copyright or ownership notices;
• Share restricted materials with unregistered users;
• Reproduce a webinar as your own training program;
• Use the materials to train a competing commercial service; or
• Record, livestream, or publicly broadcast a session.

You may use general skills and knowledge learned during a webinar in your personal or professional activities. Ownership restrictions apply to the protected expression and materials, not to ordinary knowledge or experience gained through participation.

12. Participant Content

You retain ownership of original content you submit, including questions, comments, feedback, examples, or presentations. By submitting content where it is necessary for participation, you grant CollabWise Academy a limited right to host, display, reproduce, and use that content solely to provide the relevant service, respond to your request, maintain appropriate records, and improve the learning experience.

You confirm that submitted content does not violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trademark, or other legal rights.

Feedback or suggestions about our services may be used to improve CollabWise Academy without creating an obligation to pay compensation, provided that we do not improperly disclose your confidential or personal information.

13. Use of AI Tools During Training

Certain webinars may demonstrate independently operated artificial intelligence tools. These tools are used for educational purposes and may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.You should not enter passwords, payment information, confidential employer data, sensitive personal information, or personal data belonging to another individual into an AI tool unless you have proper authorization and understand how the provider processes that information.

AI-generated material may contain errors, outdated information, bias, or unsuitable recommendations. Participants should independently review and verify important outputs before using them in professional, financial, legal, medical, employment, or business decisions. CollabWise Academy does not claim ownership of independent AI platforms demonstrated during training and is not responsible for changes made by their providers.

14. Certificates and Learning Outcomes

Where a certificate is offered, it may be issued after the participant satisfies the stated attendance, participation, assessment, or completion requirements. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a CollabWise Academy certificate confirms participation or completion of a learning activity. It does not represent a government licence, academic degree, professional authorization, or guaranteed qualification for employment.

Participation in a webinar does not guarantee employment, promotion, income, business growth, examination success, or any particular professional result. Outcomes depend on factors including participation, experience, implementation, market conditions, and individual circumstances.

15. Wellness and Professional Information

Employee wellness sessions are intended to support general workplace awareness and personal development. They are not a substitute for diagnosis, therapy, emergency assistance, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

Career, leadership, sustainability, workplace, and business content is provided for educational purposes. Participants should consider their specific circumstances and obtain suitable professional advice before making significant decisions.

16. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected through accounts, registrations, payments, webinar participation, and communications is handled according to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Data Usage Policy. We process personal information in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable requirements. Where relevant, additional rights may apply under the EU GDPR or UK GDPR.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

CollabWise Academy may use or link to third-party payment gateways, webinar platforms, AI tools, analytics services, cloud providers, or external learning resources. We do not control the availability, security, accuracy, or separate terms of independent third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to the provider’s own policies.

The inclusion of an external link does not automatically mean that CollabWise Academy endorses every statement, service, or practice of the third party.

18. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue a website feature or learning service where reasonably necessary. We may also change an instructor, delivery platform, schedule, or session format because of illness, availability, technical difficulties, security concerns, low enrolment, emergencies, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Where a material change affects a paid registration, we will take reasonable steps to notify the affected participant and provide an appropriate option under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where a user:

• Seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms;
• Shares access credentials or restricted materials;
• Engages in fraud or unauthorized payment activity;
• Misuses the website or webinar platform;
• Threatens the safety or rights of another person;
• Violates applicable law; or
• Creates a material security risk.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect participants, systems, legal rights, or payment security.

You may stop using the services at any time and may request account deletion in accordance with the Account and Data Deletion Policy.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CollabWise Academy will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of the website or participation in a webinar. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

CollabWise Academy’s responsibility for a paid service will generally be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

21. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for reasonable losses, claims, or expenses arising directly from your unlawful use of the services, infringement of another person’s rights, unauthorized distribution of protected materials, or serious breach of these Terms.

This provision does not require you to compensate CollabWise Academy for losses caused by our own negligence, misconduct, or breach of legal obligations.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations. The updated version will be published on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Material changes affecting an existing paid registration will not normally apply retroactively unless required by law, necessary for security, or expressly accepted by the participant.

23. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including applicable consumer protection requirements under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. If a concern arises, you should contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve it fairly and promptly. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to a court or other competent dispute-resolution body in Nigeria.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using a complaint or remedy available through the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or another competent authority.
